Winsor Dobbin review of 2011 Sauvingon Blanc
You really can’t go wrong with any of the wines produces by dynamic duo Tim and Bec Duffy at their boutique Holm Oak winery at Rowella in northern Tasmania's Tamar Valley.
All their estate-grown wines have a vibrancy and drinkability that makes them stand out from the crowd.
I loved their 2010 Sauvignon Blanc but the 2011 is, if anything, an even better wine; fruit driven with tropical fruit and gooseberry notes and some hints of complexity added by fermentation in old oak barrels. A crisp, zingy, refreshing wine with just 12% alcohol that will be perfect for summer supping.
