Graeme Phillips gives the 2011 Arneis his highest rating
Arneis is a variety that is enjoying rising popularity in both Australia and its home in Piedmont in Northern Italy, but this is the only one I know of in Tasmania. A light, bright wine with delicate floral, fresh pear and nutty marzipan aromas and flavours beautifully balanced around a fresh , minerally acid core, the finish mouthwateringly crisp, dry and deliciously more-ish. 5 bottles (Fabulous)
