Tim and Bec Duffy are a young couple - him a viticulturist, her a winemaker - producing some of the best cool-climate wines coming out of Tasmania. They're based in the Tamar Valley and make wines with personality and intensity. This is an excellent young Pinot made using wild yeast and basket pressing, with real purity of fruit but also some impressive textural elements. If you haven't tried a Holm Oak wine yet, they're worth checking out.
