NV Sparkling Rosé
Winemaking Notes
This wine is a blend of 2008 and 2009 base wines and is made from 100% Pinot Noir. In 2008 we simply picked the fruit at optimum acid levels, whole bunch pressed the fruit and fermented the racked juice. juice with a natural yeast. In 2009 we transferred the wine to barrel prior to the completion of primary fermentation and then inoculated for MLF to soften the acidity. The two base wines were then blended and tiraged. The wine stayed on lees for a period of 12 months prior to disgorging.
Tasting Notes
This Sparkling has delightful lifted strawberry and Turkish delight aromas on the nose. The palate shows delicious strawberry and cream characters and is fresh and vibrant with refreshing acidity and a dry finish.
